Chayse was responsive, detail-oriented, and extremely patient with my one million questions over that time period. The tent was priced extremely fairly especially compared to competitors in the area. Highly recommend!”
“I worked with Chayse at Monarch over the past several months coordinating a rain tent for my wedding.
- Sydney L.
Tables and chairs were delivered and set up exactly on schedule, and everything looked gorgeous once the linens and place settings were added. Celeste Smith was wonderful to work with — responsive, organized, and so helpful throughout the process. Highly recommend.”
“Monarch Rentals did a fantastic job for my daughter's wedding. Our rain‑plan tents were also in place and ready, which gave us total peace of mind.
- The Caytons
I hand-picked Monarch to serve as the exclusive rentals company for the venue. And I have also collaborated with Monarch's rental and floral department on several published styled shoots and open house events.”
“I have worked with Monarch as a tent and rental company for several years both as a wedding and event planner via 3 Of Cups Events and as Director of Events at The Sanctuary Event Space.
- Jessica R.
My daughter's wedding was on Saturday, June 8th, but we didn't realize we would need a tent until the Thursday prior. About 3:30 the afternoon of June 6th, we showed up to Monarch in a panic. Additionally, the folks at Monarch were able to clean a tent that was currently in use and deliver it to the church on Friday. The men who set up the tent were friendly and worked quickly so that the outdoor chapel would be ready for the noon wedding the next day. Cannot recommend Monarch Event Rentals highly enough!”
“I could not be more pleased with and grateful for the service we received at Monarch Event Rentals. General Manager Richard Bedor put us at ease, and locating our outdoor venue on his computer, he was able to measure it virtually and recommend a tent to fit the space.
- Rona M.
Tents book faster than most rentals, especially during wedding season. For weddings and large events, we recommend booking six to twelve months out. Specialty sizes and high-demand dates can fill up earlier, so it's worth reaching out sooner rather than later, even if your guest count or layout isn't fully locked in yet.
Let us know your guest count, your venue name (or general location, if you don't have a venue yet), and a rough idea of how you want guests seated. We'll work out the sizing math with you.
We offer site visits for any size of installation and complexity. A site visit lets us check terrain, access, anchoring options, and any potential obstacles before the day of the event. We'll talk about whether your event needs one when we meet in the showroom.
Most likely. Our team has installed tents at venues across the Austin metro area, from private estates to ranch properties to hotel grounds. Some venues have specific requirements for tents (permits are the responsibility of the renter to obtain, anchoring rules, setup hours), and we can help you work through those.
This is where having a tent in place really pays off! It ensures your event stays on schedule, regardless of what the unpredictable Texas weather throws at you. You will be able to make the final call on whether you need the tent 48 priors to delivery. We'll walk through your weather contingency plan during the booking process.
We carry four main tent types, each suited to different events, venues, and aesthetics. Here's a quick overview, plus what to know about tent features and sizing.
Our most common option. No center poles to interrupt the floor plan, available in white and clear top finishes. Best for most weddings, corporate events, and outdoor receptions where flexibility is important.
Dramatic peaked roofs that work well at scale. Best for festivals, large outdoor events, and venues that want to make a vertical statement.
Curved edges and wood-textured poles that turn the tent into a design piece. Best for weddings and private events where the tent itself is part of the aesthetic.
Our most durable option, built for higher wind ratings and unobstructed interior space. Installation requires a telehandler. Best for large events, multi-day setups, and venues that need extra wind tolerance.
Tents keep your guests dry through light rain and drizzle without slowing the event down.
Addition such as heaters, fans, portacoolers, and full AC installation can be made to keep guests comfortable in any Texas weather.
Tent ceilings work as a blank canvas. We can add fabric drapes, lighting, and color treatments to make the tent feel like part of the event's design rather than just shelter.
A few common tent sizes and the events they typically fit:
10x20
| small backyard cocktail hour, around 20 seated guests
20x40
| medium reception, around 80 seated guests across 8 tables
30x60
| larger wedding reception, around 180 seated guests across 18 tables
40x80
| corporate gala or large wedding, around 320 seated guests across 32 tables
Need a different size? We carry tents from 10x10 up to 50x300, plus specialty clearspan tents for events of 1,000 or more guests. Don't forget, calculate extra space for dance floors, bars, stages, and buffet.
Or come into the showroom and we'll work it out with you.
